RESPONSES II

The fact that Pepsi has changed their logo to mirror Obamas’ campaign adds was a very smart decision both visually and economically. I totally agree with their reasoning behind the logo change. Obama has always targeted the younger generation in which Pepsi is targeting as well. I agree with Pepsis' new change because it just symbolizes them more in positive and youthful way. Due to the fact that a majority of Obamas’ campaign consisted of Optimism and Change, Pepsi can successfully mirror Obamas campaign because of their mission. I believe it will and can lead to increases in sales because of the mirroring to the Obama campaign add. Especially for those who followed Obama throughout his whole campaign will favor these new Pepsi Logos. Honestly, I can careless that they changed. I love and will always love coke. Its has over all better taste than Pepsi products. Plus, coke is red. Haha.

Fast food has been a big part of my life especially now because of College and Fast food really does serve its purpose for being a fast way to attain food. It's funny you say that Burger Kind has a fixation to be on top of the fast food chain. To me, fast food is fast food. No matter where you go the name Fast Food carries on to the quality of food. Whether it be Burger King or In-N-Out, the time and effort to make the food tasty is the same which carries out the purpose of its title Fast Food. I just find it ridiculous to the extent which these companies go through to define supreme reign over one another. Really now, they are using sexual terminology to further expand their sales. In that case, I am a half virgin to fast food. I did enjoy the commercial though. However, despite the humor of the commercial, I doubt after watching it, I wont be loosing my whopper virginity any time soon.

IM NOT LOVIN IT!

Everyone anywhere in the world at almost any age can recognize those golden arches that symbolize Mc Donalds. Mc Donalds is the leading hamburger fast food chain in the whole entire world. Mickey D’s can be found in 119 countries with over 31,000 restaurant branches serving nearly 47 million customers daily. It is beyond amazing how many people all over the world know about Mc Donalds. Their latest slogan is “ I’m Loving it!” All of their bags, cups, and other goods, would have the slogan “ I’m Loving It” written in many different languages to symbolize the growth and population of Mc Donalds not only nation wide but Internationally known.

Mc Donalds originated and specializes in Hamburgers, but over the years has branched out to chicken, fries, and even coffee. (And that’s only in the United States.) My last visit to the Philippines I visited Mc Donalds once. They had some of their regular burgers like the Cheeseburger and the Big Mac but also had foods that originated from the country. The McDonalds in the Philippines also served Filipino style rice plates with marinated chicken (Adobo). Just as it is in America, the Mc Donalds in the Philippines has the same Ronald Mc Donald in the red and white to be the character as the mascot and the constant number of hungry people waiting for some food. With over 100 countries and 31,000 restaurants Mc Donalds has become a superpower restaurant.

In my own opinion, I don’t believe that Mc Donalds should not be an international success. The food is not the best, the taste lacks at times, and the quality is not worth your money. However, I do find it fascinating that in all the places I have traveled to in my lifetime, a Mc Donalds is within reach. Language barriers and distance have yet to disable Mc Donalds growing population. Also despite the controversial issues that McDonalds faces, it being legal cases and unhealthy foods, Mickey D’s has reigned supreme. You have to admit wherever you go, its is very likely that a Mc Donalds will be near. It’s pretty cool to take part of the 47 million consumers, world wide that is.

Thats going to be 90 to 120 minute wait?

One of the biggest factors of being Filipino is food. Food is always part of any celebration. However as a American born Filipino, I do not restrict myself to my own cultures food. I am always always down to try something new, whether it be spicy Indian or traditional Jewish.. I love to eat different types of food at different restaurants. However, I ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT A DOUBT HATE waiting to eat. It’s not that I am an impatient person, because I consider myself a very patient person, it’s just the feeling you get when you are waiting for food, especially when your extremely hungry; Hunger becomes unmanageable. It seems like all you can think about is the taste of food; instead of consuming the food, food ultimately consumes you. It’s a known fact (or well to me it is), when people are hungry they get highly irritable. The desire for food can alter a person’s personality. So the question lies, to what extent should you wait to get great tasting food?

On of the longest waits I have ever waited for excellent taste of food and ambience as a restaurant was two hours. Despite the long wait, Boiling Crab is definitely worth the wait. It is something different with unique taste. Boiling Crab doesn’t just provide delicious taste but provides a unique exciting experience as well.

What makes Boiling Crab so good? The menu consists of a variety of seafood: Lobster, Crawfish, Shrimp, Crab, and Oysters. After you pick which type of seafood you would like, they provide options for taste. They have three different types of flavors: Rajun Cajun (Original), Lemon Pepper, and Garlic Butter. You also have the option of combing all flavors into the Whole Sha Bang! Shortly after deciding your food, the seafood along with the seasonings is put into a bag, mixed together, than cooked. The bag full of seafood (which is in the same bag it is cooked in) is later carried to your table ready to eat. The presentation of the food makes it look nasty and dirty but man it is it amazing. After receiving your bag, you will be offered limes and salt and pepper. Then the experience begins. You are given a bib (as a baby would), no utensils then the feast begins. You use nothing but your bare hands to eat your seafood. If eating isn’t as messy as is, the seasoning and unraveling of your seafood will all pay off once tasting the deliciousness of Boiling Crabs seafood.

It makes sense why the wait is two hours long!
