IM NOT LOVIN IT!

Everyone anywhere in the world at almost any age can recognize those golden arches that symbolize Mc Donalds. Mc Donalds is the leading hamburger fast food chain in the whole entire world. Mickey D’s can be found in 119 countries with over 31,000 restaurant branches serving nearly 47 million customers daily. It is beyond amazing how many people all over the world know about Mc Donalds. Their latest slogan is “ I’m Loving it!” All of their bags, cups, and other goods, would have the slogan “ I’m Loving It” written in many different languages to symbolize the growth and population of Mc Donalds not only nation wide but Internationally known.

Mc Donalds originated and specializes in Hamburgers, but over the years has branched out to chicken, fries, and even coffee. (And that’s only in the United States.) My last visit to the Philippines I visited Mc Donalds once. They had some of their regular burgers like the Cheeseburger and the Big Mac but also had foods that originated from the country. The McDonalds in the Philippines also served Filipino style rice plates with marinated chicken (Adobo). Just as it is in America, the Mc Donalds in the Philippines has the same Ronald Mc Donald in the red and white to be the character as the mascot and the constant number of hungry people waiting for some food. With over 100 countries and 31,000 restaurants Mc Donalds has become a superpower restaurant.

In my own opinion, I don’t believe that Mc Donalds should not be an international success. The food is not the best, the taste lacks at times, and the quality is not worth your money. However, I do find it fascinating that in all the places I have traveled to in my lifetime, a Mc Donalds is within reach. Language barriers and distance have yet to disable Mc Donalds growing population. Also despite the controversial issues that McDonalds faces, it being legal cases and unhealthy foods, Mickey D’s has reigned supreme. You have to admit wherever you go, its is very likely that a Mc Donalds will be near. It’s pretty cool to take part of the 47 million consumers, world wide that is.
